A SOLID Base 1/2/16

Well the season is upon us and things are starting to look good. Many of our club volunteers were out over the last week getting the last needed items warped up now that we have our first bit of snow. We have a solid 4 inch base in most areas and the water bars should be freezing over in the next week of expected cold weather. Gates are starting to be unlocked but we need more snow before we are fully open.

The reroute sections we completed this past fall are looking good and starting to take on the look of a great addition to our trails. The trails have a very solid base to build on and with some tree work that has been started and will be completed soon with the snow in the forecast we should have all 65 miles open soon.

Carl's efforts with the help of the Brush Hog from Cherry Creek helped form this part of the powerlines into one of our new trails.

We will keep you updated via the web site and lets all hope by weeks end all the gates like the one below will be open and the 2016 Season will be in full gear.

Happy New Year !
