Yes it would have been great to provide all we had planned but as we all know Mother Nature has been on vacation this winter and at this point not sure when she will return. When the picture above was taken 6 days before the event we were hopeful for the new snow storm predicated in the weeks forcast. That storm did materialize but not with the results we were looking for, but that did not stop the wonderful people, members and guest from attending. Also on a very positive note we exceed our goals for our fund raiser which will not only help the club but also our local foodbank.
Were already looking forward to SNOWFEST 2017 and with a year to plan ahead that will give us a little more time than the three months we had to create, invite, and acquire sponsors and just as important agree as a club what we were doing. But in true club sprit everyone pulled together to make it work and the results showed that throughout the days event.
We hope all of you reading this get a chance to ride this season and enjoy the rest of your Winter. With this season being so unpredictable and the weather patterns not being in our favor we thank the Snowmobiling Community for their support and helping us make our event a huge success. Well some things no matter what are worth doing and with a little team work and good people involved the sky is the limit. The picture below was taken 6 days before the event and we were hopeful that snow would fall during that week. That did not happen but that also did not stop SNOWFEST 2016 from being a great and wonderful success. Only 360 + days till SNOWFEST 2017 & we will make sure we start snow dancing early to make sure we have enough snow.
