Well when you take 45 pounds of bacon, 60 dozen eggs, 30 pounds of sausage, 10 gallons of pancake batter, 100 pounds of potatoes along with 3 gallons of Vermont pure maple syrup. Now top that off with a few hundred people and the end results is a wonderful Sunday morning at the 19th annual Whitingham Maple Festival Pancake Breakfast. The Jacksonville EZ Riders Snowmobile Club had the pleasure of preparing a good old fashion Vermont breakfast for a few hundred fine folks this morning.
A very special thanks to Mr. Gary Dicks and his 3 wonderful grandchildren for all their help without them, well let’s just say we are so thankful they were there. We would also like to thank all that attended. Our volunteers once again showed that with good teamwork all things are possible. A very special thanks also to Cherry Creek Sales, Timmy & Marylee, Carol, Randy and Jackie for providing the maple syrup and bacon. Most important all the fine folks that supported our efforts and enjoyed our home cooked meal. See you next year for the 20th annual Whitingham Maple Festival, this year we had a sweet time.
