Recap DSVJ Pig Roast 2017

What started out as our second planed club ride for the season turned into a welcomed club meet up due to the current trail conditions. So what do you get when you put two southern Vermont snowmobile clubs together and some roasted pig? Well that’s easy; you get a great time with friends along with amazing food. For the second year in a row the Deerfield Valley Stump Jumpers and The Jacksonville EZ Riders have supported one another at our annual events. What was planned to be our second club ride for the season turned into a drive in.

Once again as they have for years the DSVJ cooking team threw down and the food was fantastic. Our host the Road House Restaurant not only provided a warm and friendly environment the service and hospitality was just perfect. Sharing some laughs, great food and sprit is what snowmobiling events are supposed to yield, and the DSVJ Pig Roast did just that.

Thoughts around the room were the same, we need snow so we all can hit the reset button and get back to what was some great ridding in the first three weeks of February. A, very special thanks goes out to all the business and people that provided the raffle prizes and for the second year going several of our club members left with some welcomed prizes.

We are thankful as neighboring clubs to be able to share, laughter, work load, trail maintenance, and the love of the sport. By doing so we strive to help one another provide the best possible riding for our members, while respecting and appreciating our landowners land as we work together toward that common goal. DSVJ thanks for your support and we had a blast @ The ROAST.
