Things are busy for our club members this week as we all get ready for EZ RIDERS SNOW FEST 2017. The task of getting everything together started months ago and now just five days until the event all last minute details must be completed. Please check back during the week for any updates or information that you may need. Here are a few things that may be helpful.
Blue SNOW FEST signs are being placed throughout our trail system to help guide you in, if you should need riding, parking or general instructions you can always e mail us at info@ezriders.org. You may want to take a minute and identify where our intersection WM-8 is and by doing so if you’re riding in that is your destination to ride too. SNOW FEST can be reached by accessing our trail system from the following trails, Woodford Snow Busters, Deerfield Valley Stump Jumpers, Guildford Pit Stoppers, and Snowmobile Association of Massachusetts Trails in Colrain Ma. Important to note that the event is held trailside on the VT / MA state line and the trail reciprocate in this area to ride in from MA.
Grooming will be ongoing this week and Trail 91 and 8 are a good ride in as is the 8 A loop form our parking lot on Route 112, as of today all routes in were good by snowmobile. We were out on the drag sleds today installing event signs and laying out the demo track for you to test ride a new 2017 Polaris and the exhibit snow cross track was also laid out in one of the fields on this amazing property. Snowmobile parking will be to the left of the house & barn and clearly marked. All car, truck & trailer parking will be just past the house on the right side of the road. Our trails go in four different directions form this location, so we welcome you to trailer in and unload if needed.
A few updates of importance, our raffle is still growing we would like to thank these two business for adding to our great list of over 20 prizes. Thank you White Way Laundry & Earth Wood Products. Some more very exciting news is SNOW FEST will be video recorder using a drone the video footage of parts of the event by drone will be available to view on our website after the event.
