Trail Report 12/12/16

Our last weekend of trail work was completed today and all 65 miles of our trails are ready for the coming season. We still have some down trees in a few areas but all stakes, signs, and other trail-related items are complete. We were able to install two new intersection sign this year adding to our ongoing sign project we would again like to thank Dave for providing them once again and Frank from VT Signs Work for also once again turning out a top quality sign. We added new intersection signs at WM-6 and also WM-21 both were needed and the new signs look great and will be helpful to all. New maps have also been installed on some of our existing signs. We had a few small reroutes this fall but nothing major. There is a nice base started and they are calling for 5 to 10 inches tonight so we will just keep on wishing for a few more good storms and we are ready to roll. Our groomer has had several updates over the summer and along with our 2 drag sleds were ready to hit the trails. Would like to give a very special thanks to all our hard working volunteers who showed up both days and worked in the cold, and without our wonderful landowner's none of this would be possible. The home cooked lunch both days made this past Saturday & Sunday worth every minute out of the trails and we welcome the coming season with open arms. Update: Snow Sunday Night About 8 Wonderful Inches Of SNOW
