We Had A Blast !!!

Our lead Groomer Sheldon, & Club Vice President Ray along with Vicky had a great time passing out treats from our float along the parade route.

As summer starts to draw to and end we look forward to the coming season that is just around the corner. We were thankful to be able to all get together this summer as a club for Old Home Week and it was a great weekend and time for all involved. The EZ Rider Traveling Tent Kitchen was up and running during the 4 day event and it was such a pleasure to see so many of our club members and also landowners. Thank you to all that stopped by and got something to eat. Hats off to Rodger for making sure the kitchen was up and running each morning and all the time he spent on the grill with the temps being in the nineties.

Getting together as a club to design and decorate our two floats entered into the parade was a good time. Splitting the task between two teams got the projects done quickly. Two thumbs up to Craig & Rusty for their combined efforts on their float design showing an old and new snowmobile on the same float, and our groomer was looking good on its float in the parade.

This season we will be planning at least two club rides and welcome everyone to join us. Details will be listed soon on our website and please try and make it if you are available, we hope to make these rides an ongoing outing for all. We also should be finalizing the date for this year’s Snow Fest event. Hopefully Mother Nature will provide the Snow that was missing from last year’s event so we all can ride in from VT or MA. Snow Fest 2016 and raffle was a huge success for the club and we look forward to seeing you all at this year’s event with plenty of snow on the ground so our club can provide all the fun things we have planned for Snow Fest 2017.

We invite you to be a contributing member to our club. Trail work will be starting soon and we so welcome to see new faces at our meetings and work details. Come out and have some fun, share some laughs all while getting the work that needs to be done each year to open our trails. This year our work parties will be held October 1st & 2nd and the 29th & 30th from 8:30 to 1:30 with lunch severed afterwards. We will be meeting at our Club House and Groomer Station on Fowler Rd off RT 100 directly across for the Deerfield Valley Rod & Gun Club in Whitingham VT.

Lastly as always a very special thanks to all our landowners for their kindness and use of their land. We also know that many of our club members are busy and don’t have the time to help with trail work but find ways to help the club year in and year out. Once again Mr. & Mrs. Dave Landers will be providing intersection signs where needed to add to our ongoing sign project. A special thank you also to Mark & Lynn Richards for their cash donation to help the club with maintenance needs. Your support and gifts are greatly appreciated. This year once again TMA’s and club membership can be done online directly with our club and help is provided if needed to complete the paperwork. This can also be done in person at Cherry Creek Sales & First Stop Gas Station in Jacksonville VT and also Hagers Farm Market in Shelburne Falls, MA. We look forward to seeing you this season on the Jacksonville EZ Riders Snowmobile Club Trails. Come join our snowmobile club for continued Winter & Year Round Fun !!

Old Home Week was a great time for all that attended and we look forward to being a part of it once again in another 10 years.

Our Club President Jackie & Trail Boss Carl receive a welcomed and greatly appreciated donation from landowner and club member Mark & Lynn Richards.

Our club served up breakfast & lunch through the weekend and we are very thankful for all the support we had at Old Home Week 2016.

As the generations carry on family traditions and also create new ones the children's parade at Old Home Week was wonderful.
