Over Before It Ever Began !

Well this is that time of year we hate to see come and now it is here. But the season never really started at all. We again would like to thank all our landowners for the use of their land to make our 65 + miles of trails possible. It was also a hard year for all our area business so please remember to support them year round. Without our great volunteers the work to be done and that gets done would never happen and we are thankful for all of them.

It was a little difficult to take down all the ropes, stakes, and signs knowing so many did not get to enjoy the trails. We would like to thank all our club members for their continued support. Good news we completed many needed club related items throughout the last year and this season. Those changes to our trails and club will just help make next season even better.

Our new club member Richard did a wonderful job cutting limbs on his pines in their field. Passing through the field is always enjoyable it will be even more now after that completed project. The new rope roller Ray made last season made pulling stakes and winding rope on our spools very simple and easy. Put the roller in the trailer behind the ATV, while pulling stakes to be put in the trailer you wind the rope at the same time. Yes this is a two person job, put after some practice you can roll right through a field very quickly. It was a good day our core team of 6 members showed up split up the tasks and areas and just got it done. We all finished up with grilled hot dogs and a cold beer with friends. Yes even without snow we made the best throughout the season and worked together to better our club and trails.

The trail at the head of the pond (snow covered) last year pictured below was the last day of the season 4/15/15 when we went out to close the gates on our snowmobiles. The picture above it was this weekend. BOY what a difference a year makes. Wishing all a great spring and summer and please check our web site from time to time it will be updated throughout the year. Thank You, EZ RIDERS SNOWMOBILE CLUB.
