Re-Route Underway

It was a good weekend to get several needed projects started for the upcoming season which is just 91 days away. Two of our younger lady member’s ages 14 & 17 were out Saturday in the rain working on the clubs sign project. Thank you girls for your efforts. Sunday morning 8 AM the A Team showed up at our Grommer Shack ready to take on the project at hand.. We were able to get caught up from Carl & Craig on the highlights of the VAST Annual Meeting they had attended the day before.

Re-Routes in any trail system happen from time to time when needed. This one will not only get this section of our trails off a town road, but will be a very nice addition through the woods and along the power lines. Two bridges must be added 30 and 25 feet long and miles of trail must be cut, mowed and cleared. The great thing about working with a great group of liked mined people is things happen quickly when you get together. We made short work of getting the morning started and everyone fell into place like a well-oiled machine marching forward.

A special thanks to Randy for the carrying beams for the Bridges and getting them to the site. As well as the efforts of Carl, Craig, Tim, Mike, & Randy, as always we made it happen. With the North End of our Re-Route started with a few more weekends we should be set with this project being completed. For those who have an interest in helping with upcoming projects and working with some great folks, e mails us at info@ezriders.org . Our trails in VT only happen from the grace of the landowners and the hard work of so many volunteers statewide. Come join us.
