Every season the work begins in the fall to get our trail system ready for the coming season. This year we have a major re-route to do along with the regular work of signs, bridge maintenance, tree trimming , sign placement, just to name a few of the task. We are asking all and any members that can make it to please join us for our first Worker B, of the season. We will be meeting at our Grommer Station.

Looks like our hard working trail boss is out of the area getting a little hunting in before he has to come back and guide us through one of 2 major reroutes. Glad to see you were able to get that good looking ram and look forward to seeing it mounted. Carl for many years now has put in countless hours to make sure we all have our 65 miles of trails to ride and enjoy. Safe travels Carl and we will see you at our firs...

To all our DADS, my your day be filled with family and fun. We thank all our hard working volunteer Dads that give of their time so willingly. Also a big thank you to all the Dads that take the time to teach their children the joy of snowmobiling and respect for the land on which we ride.

We would like to take a minute to thank all our hardworking Mothers, Grandmothers & ladies who volunteer countless hours to help make our sport possible in Vermont. Our club has the honor of having several ladies members that give of their time freely and without them what we do would not be possible. Wishing you all a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY.

All-electric propulsion is slowly but surely taking over every segment of ground transport one at a time. Of course, we extensively cover passenger cars, but we’ve recently seen an all-electric stand-up personal watercraft and electric planes are coming too. Now we learn that all-electric snowmobiles are currently being tested and should become available next winter.

I’m not too surprised that the startup le...

April 29, 2017

Well as April comes to an end we know that the season has defiantly come to an end. One of the most important and rewarding task we do each year is thanking our landowners at our annual landowners dinner. As we are all fully aware that without our landowners, supporting business and our hard working volunteers none of the joy we share in the winter months would be possible. We would also like to thank VAST & Landmak...

Sometimes in life it is just a little to late to change the outcome of things. We had to close our trails this week due to the warm weather and rain. Fridays forecast of a possible 12 inches of fresh snow will have us all wanting more. If you want to ride we suggest you trailer over to Woodford they are reporting to still be open, and have a blast. We need to respect our landowners and the decision of our trail boss...

Over the years riding with my children we tried everything on the market to help keep them upright and also trying to get them thinking about the motor skills they would need to one day ride on their own. Well it looks like the perfect product has just been made available.

Where were these when we were kids? I can still hear my dad telling me to “tough it out” when my hands started to get cold on those long trail rid...
